Our client, a leading Canadian telecommunication company, is seeking talented individuals to join their finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy of G/L entries in compliance with the company’s Financial Reporting Guidelines and local GAAP requirements.
- Prepare and validate accounting and reporting data for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
- Identify and resolve General Ledger problems, including balance sheet reconciliations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing second-line escalation for accounting queries.
- Manage Intercompany financial responsibilities, including invoice issuance, agreement maintenance, and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with various teams within the Shared Service Center and in-country departments.
- Offer accounting advice and guidance to other departments such as Order Processing and Controlling.
- Work closely with the Team Leader to provide support in various areas.
Requirements:
- University degree in economics/finance or equivalent education.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in SAP, and MS Office (advanced Excel skills).
- Strong SAP FI/CO experience is advantageous.
- Fluent English language skills (written/verbal) required.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Note: For the first 6 months, the successful candidate will be on a Top Skills contract with our client. Following this period, they will be transferred to our client’s firm.
