Primary Responsibilities:
– Security Policy and Documentation: Develop comprehensive security policies and documentation for company-wide distribution.
– Security Training Program: Administer and enhance the information security training program to ensure staff awareness and compliance.
– Vendor Security Onboarding: Lead the security assessment and onboarding of new IT vendors to ensure compliance with security standards.
– Firewall Administration: Configure, manage, and maintain firewalls, focusing on Check Point and Palo Alto Networks systems.
– VPN Management: Set up, administer, and troubleshoot VPNs, including Cisco, Check Point, and Pulse Secure technologies.
– Scripting: Utilize scripting languages (BASH, Ruby, Perl, Python) to automate security tasks and processes.
– Privileged Identity Management: Manage sensitive access controls and identities using CyberArk.
– Penetration Testing: Assist with conducting penetration testing to identify network vulnerabilities.
Requirements:
– Scripting Proficiency: Skilled in at least one scripting language for automation and configuration.
– Security Fundamentals: Solid understanding of security concepts across UNIX or Windows platforms.
– Identity Access and Password Management: Proficiency in using tools like CyberArk and Bitwarden.
– Network Security and Performance: Experience with Cloudflare.
– Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Certifications: Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or related credentials are strongly preferred.
– Experience: 3-6 years of experience in a security-engineering role or a related field.
