We are seeking an Accountant to join our client’s team in Sofia!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the correctness of the G/L entries in compliance with the company’s Financial Reporting Guidelines as well as local GAAP requirements;
- Prepare and validate accounting and reporting data for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing;
- Identify and resolve General Ledger problems within their specific area of assignment including balance sheet reconciliations;
- Upload payments in the online banking tool where relevant and account for the cash movements;
- Act as a first line expert within their respective area of Intercompany financial responsibility – issuance of invoices, maintenance of IC agreements, intercompany reporting, and all sub-processes.;
- Provide accounting records/extracts/supporting data at request by external auditors or internal stakeholders;
- Work tightly with the Accounting Team Leader in any areas of support
Requirements:
- University degree in accounting or equivalent education
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting
- Fluent English Language Skills
- German language skills (B1+)
- SAP, MS Office (advanced Excel skills)
- Strong SAP FI/CO experience would be considered as advantage
- Experience with Blackline would be considered an advantage
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
